Cóyotl is the ancient Aztec name for the wild dog we know as coyote. Coyote is the eternal trickster, an agent of change, especially during times when we feel everything is coming along just as we planned. Tricksters appear in stories all over the world, manifesting as coyotes, rabbits, foxes, ravens, snakes, clowns, children and old men/women. Tricksters keep us alert and flexible.
Cóyotl is 12″ x 12″ oil on panel, framed in a float frame. It is available in my studio.
