Rodeo
American Rodeos are narrative performances that tell and retell the story of conquering the West and mastering its wild nature. In this Rodeo series, I depict the animals in authentic physical roping postures, but have removed the cowboy as hero/protagonist. This shift makes the animals the principals of their own stories, inviting viewers to see the rodeo experience from a different perspective.
