Spring

The painting portrays a girl underwater, surrounded by floating frog eggs and a frog. Evocative of the Frog Prince, maybe? Frogs are a great archetype, symbolic of life transitions and rebirth. So what does the title mean? Spring could be a place where water wells up, or a season, or the act of pouncing suddenly, or being resilient (springy) or to facilitate a release or escape, to spring away…what does the title mean to you?
